induction kits dont mess up the air flow they improve it hence why if you add the K&N TYPHOON kit to a t-sport you can get another 12BHP. it does depend on what engine you have as to how much improvement you get.

i have a k&n 57i kit on a 1.4lt engine, and i have to say it has never given me any trouble at all, just a smile every time i redline the engine!!!!

Oil based air filters are said to mess up air flow meters, like the K&N. An Apexi air filter or similar is said to be better as they are dry filters.

Thats what people say, personaly I used a K&N 57i on my S13 200SX for over a year with no problems.

priced the 57i just there...looking for 220e for it!! think i will go that way alrite,engine just too quiet wivout one!
