Warning Light

I have an amber warning light that comes on for a short while and not very often but it is there and now i'v seen it i'm wondering what it is. I do not have a owners manual so cant look it up so any help would be appriciated. It is a pic in amber of a oil can with wavey water like line at the bottom.

It`s the oil level warning light. Mine comes on when the oil needs about half a litre to top up to the full mark of the dipstick. Also they are prone to giving false readings. But obviously it`s always best to check.
