hi how do i know if ive blown my turbo?if noises or bangs etc..... and what to look for in turbo problems its the ct26 on a gt-four st185 jap cheers

usaly smoke on boost or when left idling for 5-10mins when hot. you can get screetching noised but not very common on the CT2* series turbo.

to test the seals, take the car for a good blast and then alow to idle for 5-10 mins, if the seals are duff then youll get loads of smoke from the exhaust.

another possible problem with the CT series is shafts breaking/ blades comming off, this manifests itself by a lack of boost

Sounds like a screaming Bansheee if the turbo has gone.. Check to see if its boosting ok
