I'm an old school import guy. I now drive an 02' Audi A4, but I'm wanting to get a supercharged MR2 and would like to ask questions and do research. Just want to know if this is the best place. TIA. -Joe

....still loving old school MR2s and Rx-7s :)

Hiya and welcome to the club...

IMHO this isn't the best pure MR2 forum although there is a lot of info to be gained here and some v friendly people although a lot of them do drive lexus's (we let them off)....

I've had a number of MR2's and the pleasure of driving one of what was 2 MR2 Superchargers witht he later spec uprated jap engines and as you can see from the avatar still swear by them....

What sort of q's do you have, am sure I'll be able to help :)

www.imoc.co.uk or www.mr2dc.co.uk are the best although the mr2dc forum is offline for about another week or two as it's being redone. both are purely for mr2s

IMHO if your after pure 2's and a younger crowd IMOC is the place, 2DC appears to be more slippers and pipes, no offene to anyone intended.

www.imoc.co.uk - for all things MR2, but had a few arguments.

www.mr2dc.com - for all your tartan rug and picnic needs.

www.mr2faq.com - US site, rammed with info.

www.mr2oc.co.uk - good site, just a bit quiet.

here - not just MR2's so you get other opinions, but sometimes not techie enough.

Old school all day for me!!!

I'd rather have a mint rust free mk1 super charger then my mk2 any day...

Same way I prefer the oldschool supras to the new ones ;)

welcome aboard fella!

I used to be on there a lot and I just got fed up with the bickering.

And if you don't do mods etc in the way that a few select people tell you, you are wrong.

So I left (and I heard they bitched for a bit about that too), nothing against the guys on there. I enjoyed when I was subscribed, but several hundred e-mails a day kinda took the mick ..

mr2oc.co.uk

imoc.co.uk

answer all my questions. Both have a good group of friendly helpfull people. Check mr2oc's how to section. Some interesting stuff in there. imoc have a good section on buying things ie tyres, where members have done writeups on the products and ratings. V.handy.
