Trd Panel Filter/inlay Question

Hey there!

Im a regular visitor on this site and as of to day a "registered visitor" ;) Hereby I would like to introduce myself:

Im Barry, I live in the Netherlands and im a sucker for the T-sport. I drive a 2001 yaris T-sport.

Wicked little devil, and proud of owning one!

I kick in the door with a question, i've been searching around these forums trying to find someone with an TRD panel filter. I wanted to know if it gives you (a little) more sound instead of just better performance.

Im thinking of getting myself one, but it depends.... If it doesnt give any difference in sound, I might go for the intake...

Thanks in advance!

Barry

Shouldn't make much of a noticeable sound unless you also open up the inlet pipe into the airbox! If that is enlarged by quite a lot you may notice a noise increase but tbh your much better off with an induction kit which will guarantee a lot of noise and you will still have the standard airbox to go back in come selling time!

Welcome to the club :D Any more questions you want answered just ask away as bound to be someone on here who will know the answer!

Yeah, it won't make much noise at all, you're probably better going for an induction kit if you're after noise!

Welcome to the club Barry :group-cuddles:

i agree with the above if its noise your after get a induction kit,

a panel filter wont really make any difference to sound.

The Apexi is the best for filtration, however the Blitz sus power will give you the best noise

they do come up second hand quite cheap so keep an eye open .
