Had the car lowered today on tein basics, much stiffer and better through corners

may need to go a touch lower though

also had my 3g 10 groove front & read discs, endless pads front & rear, goodridge lines and new brake fluid fitted.

Looking good

What size are your alloys, 16's?

Ive got the exact same 1's but in 17's, but not fitting them to my TS. I want lightweight 15's ;)

How much do you reckon uve dropped it by?

thanks for replies

alloys are 15's

I asked for it to be lowered 50mm but the message wasn't passed on to the mechanic who was fitting them so he went by the guidelines in the manual and it's supposed to be 30mm, but it looks lower, id say between 35mm & 40mm.

i'm slowly going off the wheels, I want some 16's. and more jap looking.

now i've got a bit of a squeak coming from the rear of the car is this normal for the teins.

I've missed a whole episode again! Did you get a new car from the dealers?

Anyway, I really like your choice of mods so far mate apart from your wheels, it's coming along very nicely!

Looks great mate, very tidy. Not too keen on the style of wheels though, no doubting they suit the car and that, but I've seen those wheels on way too my Corsas etc for my liking.

Great looking little car mind :)

Scraped the underneath of the car 3 times already.

Insurance won't allow me to drop it lower than 50mm.

I am after new wheels but cannot find many I like.

Just had a price off kevin for some, just under £1500 for a set of 4 16's.

If only I had the money, and wasn't paying for my car.

make no difference what you've got, you can't lower the car more than 50mm

I think it's 50mm at the moment.

They'll never know if it's 50mm or more and if somehow they find out it's more than 50mm just play dumb!
