Removing Cig Lighter

hi guy, i was wondering if any1 could help im fitting in an aftermarket head unit and done that kool, but i cant figure out how to take the cig light socket out of the old facia and put it in to the new one .....!!!????

use a flat screw driver to help it out its connection

thanks iv done that but their is a black plastic around the socket but would not fit through the hole .... does the black plastic come off????

the only way u can get it out is by breaking it :(
