well i am new here as it says and im also the very very proud owner of a gt4 st205 wrc and my god what a monster!! i finally hit 30 and decided that as a birthday present to myself (great being a man) id buy a car iv always dreamed of owning ever since those heady days playing sega rally at the arcades! and while it took the best part of a month to find one where the shoulder bolster hadnt collapsed from a fatty getting in and out i did find one at park lane garage in stoke on trent,BIG thankyou to jason the owner he fitted a new clutch and gas adjustables and new boots for me to wear out. all this and 3 months warranty 12 months mot 6 months tax and a service! bargin!! now i just want to clear something up with you people here...does the smile or that tingly feeling ever wane when you start coming on boost?! im 30 but i feel like a 7yr old boy on xmas morning whenever i jump behind the wheel now, which is very often! also one question, the noise from my dump valve makes a noise more akin to a proper rally cars not just a little hiss as my friends does, can anyone explain why this is,without the explanation of "it is a proper rally car"! anyway look forward to chatting with you all instead of boring my mates sensless!

WTTC mate sounds like you found yourself a good one which is getting increasing hard these days, get some pictures up so we can have a butchers.

Oh and you about to start feeling old... there's quite a few younger owners on here around 20-25 area. :D and no you will never get tired of the boost :D  especially if it's you second car and you have to put up with a Vauxhaul Vectra during the week... :P

As for the dump valve it's probably because you mates got a pants single piston ceapo one where as you have a decent dual piston expensive jobbies. Get some pics of it up and we should be able to tell you what it is. Oh yea and because it is a proper rally car!

Boost itself doesn't get boring... the level of boost does though... then that requires upgrades..

Get some pics up lad!...

With regards to the noice as you change gear.. if you aint got a blow off valve then it could be compressor stall as i get that in mine too although im boosting at 16Psi as opposed to the stock figure of 13Psi.

Yes.. boost = 7 year old boy..

Hi bud,

If you click on the following link, it will take you to a website that allows you to upload a picture and then you take the link it generates and place it in here as a new post.

http://www.imagehosting.us/index.php

If you click on the small picture of a tree just above the text box you type your post in, it will ask you for a URL which will be the one you get once you upload your pic to that site.

Its late and all this might sound a little messed up but dont hesitate to ask...

regards

Fizz
