Just thourght it would be interesting to see how people drive there T-Sports!!!!

Do you drive it like you stole it or a little tamer.

Im definity the 'lm out of fuel again'

For some reason the Poll didnt work.

So here are your choices:

1) l dont drive below 7,000RPM

2) Im out of fuel AGAIN!

3) When im in the mood

4) Once a month

5) l drive like Miss Daisy

6) Whats a LIFT

Probably once or twice during each journey, depends on the traffic though becuase I only generally drive to and from work so it's a little buys to be thrashing it.

I do love the feel of the lift when it comes in and I find it's good not to use it for a few journeys and even drive like a granddad and then use it, it feels so much more sudden.

Nice to have the kick in the backside when you have been pottering about. I must confess I probably use it once or twice during every journey ... it's so hard to resist the temptation especially as i've not had the car long, but i'm not sure the "novelty" will ever wear off!

I drive relatively normally during the week (to n from the train station) and at the weekend when I'm out and about I tend to lift a few times each journey.

I also tend to push it quite hard moving away at traffic lights.

Ive had mine almost a year now and the novelty never wears off! :D

Its the most fantastic feeling to know you have an extra 2-3k juiced up revs there just waiting when all other cars are just running out of puff. lol

You can just see the drivers expression change as they reach for the next gear and look out the window only to hear your car kick it up a notch and rip past them :yahoo: absolutely priceless!!

And yes, I know its very, very, very, very childish but theres no better feeling than totally embarrasing the "2 litre tdi" crowd!

The ford mondeo, the volvo, the vauxhall vectra -the dreaded family cars who think they are something! Come on you all know the sort.

Dont give me that look, i know youve all done it too

Number 2 for me.

i have been trying for a while to drive and not use the lift to try and see how much fuel the supercharger is using. just to see if it is worth driving around on lift or not. so far i do not think i have managed anymore that 20 miles before temptation gets the better of me.

oh how it is so sad that when i look at it i dont own the car it owns me.

I think there should be another option of "when the other half is not in the car".

when she is then i rarely hit lift and get good mpg, when shes not then i lift A LOT but get rubbish mpg.

traffic lights are the best though, even better when there is a TT or something else flash but rubbish. they get the ar*e when you burn them and then they sit on your bumper for the next five miles.

Its gotta be 1 for me. I'm always in lift. He he he!!!!! But i do work silly hours in the morning and have two quick dual carriageways to play with!!!

When shes in the car its a different ball game I keep getting told off. However she does let me play in lift a little on dual carriageways not on the open road mind. :crybaby: WOMEN!!!

I wish to revise my previous statement , "When other half is not in the car" ! :D

I know what you mean StevenM, or else they do the other last resort tactic ... After you nip past them they take a 4 mile run up and drive slowly past you as if to say "Ha im faster now" not knowing that you have long since forgotten about them and are now driving about listening to the radio and wondering whats for dinner...

I think im going to coin a phrase and call that "People Carrier Syndrome" PCS as it generally affects every one who owns one, its like they have something to prove.

Keep an eye out - i think the condition is spreading, i had a guy in a megane scenic with two child seats try his luck a few days ago off a roundabout up a dual carriage way... im sorry mate but your not fooling anyone.

I had the people carrier syndrome too only it was a citroen picasso lol. i see him every morning on my way to work, stopped at the traffic lights he kept flooring it away from them, until i got fed up one day and that was the end of that. hehe

Number 3 as well

I do a lot of motorway driving and the 'pull away factor' when someone is snapping at your heels is brilliant

Oh, lift and boost is even better :P

Combination of 2 & 3 for me.

Liverpool's terrible for PCS (good phrase that, bigfiiish!) Plenty fast drivers in town and on motorways, but I like it best when some wide-o wants to try it on on back roads, I'm not the best driver by far, but it's great to see them receding out of view!
