Induction Kit

:D Hi all, my exhaust is off the car now so i need another alternative mod ie engine mod, some peeps have mentioned power boost valves or ecotec valves but im not to sure what they do exactly. Anyway is there any induction kits available at all for the 1.8 lean burn engine?, i know i might loose some power with an induction kit but really its just for insurance purposes until i sell the car in a few months, please help thx all kind regards :D .

No specific induction kits are made available for the 1.8 7A-FE lean burn engine.

You could build your own custom one, using universal parts though.

Not sure what effect it will have on your engine itself, but I am aware it will have a detrimental effect to performance.

My advice would be to get a proper K&N replacement panel filter, rather than trying to build your own. I would have thought if it were possible, K&N would have added this induction kit to their portfolio.
