Jap Show Finale @ Pod

Well it was an absolutely awesome day yesterday at pod! :yahoo: there were some mental cars there on the strip!!!

But because of all the pros there was VERY little time for RWYB cars so i didnt get on the strip :censor: but im planning to go this sunday again to get on the strip :D

The winner of the Grand final was Tim Webber Who ran a 8.8 1/4 at about 155mph in a skyline on the final race! :toast:

Here is a little clip of some pros lining up for the strip, inc fensport celica, zen scooby, and if you look at the white skyline next to the red supra that is the one that won it with the 8.8:

Another of my favorites was the rocket car :yahoo: if you have never seen a rocket car run the strip in person they are amazingly loud!!! here is a clip. in this clip it ran a 6.3 1/4 @ 249mph!!

(2nd time you watch it just concentrate on the guy in the bottom left corner right next to me.. this gives you an idea of how loud it is  )

Yeah i would have iked to run the strip :( will do soon tho!!

As for the FMIC and having too much money... i wish i had too much money... the only reason i can afford to buy this is im hoping to make my money back by selling on the chargecooler setup :) have a guess how much the whole kit cost me, the exact one in that pic

Adam you're a dirty man!

i could just about stretch to buy this FMIC as i think i can sell the chargecooler setup for more than i paid for the FMIC

The FMIC kit + P&P + insurance = £233.43 :yahoo:

Rogue on gt4oc has this exact kit on his 4 and recently greg at weston performance did some work on it, so i went in and asked him what he thought of it. He said it seemed a good kit and performed very well on the dyno, and he recommended i buy one... so i did :D

MR2 owners are after these chargecoolers as they see a nice bhp gain when fitting them. Karl.othen from gt4oc sold the full chargecooler setup (main bit, pump and rad) for £400  but i will list mine at £250 as i think he was lucky with that. So hopefully money wise it will be like a straight swap B)

Plus 1 for that

Oh and Adam you easy get over £300 for the whole setup, just the chargecooler core normally goes for around the £250 mark and as you've said the MR2 boys love setup as it's a lot more compact than an fmic and just what they need.
