Steering Noise Help

:D Hi all, ive got a noise comeing from my steering ewhen i turn it from left to right, its like a rubber to rubber contact sound, has anyone experienced this problem themselfs?. I did open the bonnet up and the noise did seem to be comeing from the steering rack area, please help thx all :D .

Try spraying the coupling with W40.. the bit where the colum joins to the rack.

Also, sometimes the back of the steering wheel rubs on the dash.. a bit of wd on there might help.

Hi m8, the noise is definately comeing from the rack area and not the wheel, the first thing i did try was spraying the coupling but the noise remained, any other ideas?, thx m8:].
