Urgent Help

I am planing on to buy a silvertop 4age from my mate, but not to sure if this 20v will go straight into my ae82gt as these did come in the rwd corolla's and the ae82 is fwd. Has any one done this conversion will it fit straight in without any modifications the engine's got all the wiring loom ecu flywheel monifold. Any one with any info please let me no.

yes it will fit on existing mounts, as has been done countless times. @by the way, as stated above, the 20v engines were only ever available in fwd....dont know who told you that, but dont listen to them!!

I am in the middle of my 20v swap in my E11. The engine in my car does fit but had to get a custom gearbox mount and drill the holes for the left mount aswel! Not as straight forward as i hoped! you also have to get hold of the wiring diagrams for the loom. I didnt have to change the dash loom just the engine loom and fuse box! If you are is runnning a 4age 16v engine the loom may work.

The only diagram i require is the fuse box diagram. That is my only headache at the moment. I am not too sure if the loom will work its only a guess, but it works for the honda equivalent.
