Wheel Offset

hi,

You may remember a while ago I was confused about the excess flare of my arches even though I have 7in wheels fitted.

The car was new to me so I didn't have any history.

I think I have solved it now.

I bought some new alloys, 7x16, and when fitted they come right out to the inside lip of the wings.

The offset is 35 and the old wheels were 45

I thought the old ones were genuine Toyota, but at 45 I now dont think so.

Am I right in thinking that 35 is nearer right than 45?

yeah pretty sure 35 is definately better, think 38 is the offset stated by mr.t

i'd go with that, just had to find that out for myself too :)
