Yesterday night some W£%&ER scraped my rear arch leaving me to discover it in themorning.

My GF thinks I'm being a big baby and think I'm overreacting... "for god sake it's just a car... etc..." BUT IT'S NOT! ITS MY BABY AND IT'S WIDE AND WHITE!!! NOW IT'S SCRARED!!!! ARGHHHH!!!!!!

I need a shoulder to cry on and I think this is the only place I can freely express my pain.

aww mate, rubbish!!!! how bad is it? I had mine damaged by some pr@$k in a car park last weekend... pi@@ed off doesn't quite explain it! Hope you manage to get it sorted out buddy!

The world now is full of bad drivers and to make it worse there not even honest about what they get up to.

Get CCTV (although the police say cctv can't be used for some reason, but atleast you'll know who to look out for) ;)

I've T cut it today and it doesn't look that bad. Lucky it's not dented. Just scratches. There are a few deeper scratches I couldn't get out. I think it's about time I contacted my friend for a full blow over now. Still hurting. :(

i had some lil f@@ker last week smash into the side of me and drive off..

im well unhappy.. and i got told the same from my girlfriend its only a bit of metal..

Shet, that sucks. Difficult to see the extent of the damage because of the reflections but it aint pretty anymore It could be sorted fairly cheaply though.

Didn't you take their reg or follow them?

Oh and when I reversed into a post and caved in my wheel arch my girlfriend said that I have to get it done asap and actually offerered to pay half! I was only turning around as she went the wrong way in her car when I was following her home so she felt guilty!!! Sense of direction is not her strong point.

Damn, I hate it when that happens, I once saw a Mondeo catch a Smart looking VW Golf in a car park and drive off, so I put a note under the Golfs windscreen wiper saying I'd seen it, with the car reg and my phone number.

The girl rang me and said would I fill in a insurance report, which I said no problem to, but did she thank me... NO, she just hung up.

I've got a blooming cat scratching my baby at the moment, it keeps climbing all over the car, and I saw 2 parallel scratches in the paintwork and matching ones in the rear window rubber where it's lost it's grip.. And I'm FUMING, If I get ahold of the little sh*t, I'll feed it to my dogs...

So NO, you're not over reacting, that rear quarter and door look a mess, it may be trivial damage to some, but when it's your baby, it's like a huge puss filled zit... GRRR

Poor Celi!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and shock horror.......... I am a girl and I really do understand how you feel. hmmmmmm. my car is my baby!!!!!!!!!!

And yet when anything bad happens to my car (which is quite often these days) all I get from my ex boyfriend, best mate, flat mate (he is the same person) ;) is "its only a car".

He should so understand how I feel about my car.

SERAs are nice looking toyota cars..not many of them really seen on the roads . Also from what I remember they have Lambo stylee doors!!!

As for the damage..gutting matey. I had same hit and run only on door though nothing like yours.....Awful when some idiot does that then drives off. Hope it all gets sorted matey keep us up to date

update on my celi. :D

found a place which can do the damge for 200 quid ;) as they have a panel beater that can do it for me.. back in essex i got quoted 600+

still annoyed it has to come out of my pocket..

lets just hope it dont happen again or i will get very very angry

so lets hope this place does a good job (Booked in on monday and i think i get it back wednesday or thursday)
