Can anyone :help: Please - I have a 2002 Avensis 1.8 vvtI E IZZ - FE Petrol Engine. and would like to know how to Change the External Ancillary Belt, e.g. How is it Tensioned?

On the drivers side of the engine you'll see the belt tensioner. Kind of dog legged shapped device coming down from the top of the vehicle rear of the engine. This tensions the belt automatically.

To change it there's a 19mm fixed nut on the side of the tensioner. Put a spanner on that and haul on it to release the tension which allows the belt to be removed/fitted
