Hi,

Just need a bit help,

My car has been in storage for about six months, what are the chances that my Battery will need replacing, up until about 2 months ago i would run up the engine for about 30 mins or, but have not been able recently, jump started it yesterday and let it run for an hour (couldn't take on the road as no tax or insurance yet)

Went to turn it on today and Battery is flat again

Hoping to the car taxed and insured for beginning of november, so if i take it on a long run will my Battery be ok?

Is there any sort or indicator or something that might tell me?

Any help would be really appriciated

Thanks

Neil

Get yourself a descent Battery charger mate. One that has a trickle charger on it mate. That way if your Battery drops in voltage the charger will switch on automatically and start charging the Battery to maintain the battery's condition  Have a look at Halfords or argos ;)
