Replacing Sugarcube On Gear Change Arm

how hard or easy is it to change or swap around. what will fitting a new 1 do for me apart from knackering my knees futher ?

not sure how easy it is on a two but prolly best done from underneath.

renewing this block may cure gear selection probs as the cross gate dosnt move correctly when worn.

i have also seen a destroyd 5th gear synchro on an ST-185 box and the only worn component was the sugar cube!!!

i cant get the pin out from the gear select lever. it will have to be left untill new clutch is fitted. will be alot easier with gearbox out.
