What Do You Think About These Wheels?

hi guys, i have a 3door e12 corolla, in black if it makes a difference and was thinking of buying some 17" wheels together with the tte springs.

at the moment my personal favourites are these (please follow link).

what do you guys think about them? i know konig do a similar set too.

(if someone could photoshop them onto a similar corolla to mine i'd be really grateful since i lack such talent)

plus will their extra weight mean a loss in power since my corolla is 'only' the 1.4 engine? or will the difference be negligible?

Have you seen any pictures of them on any other cars? I'm having trouble picturing them on a corolla at the moment, plus the angle of the picture doesn't make it too great for photoshopping.

I'm seriously considering these wheels for my car right now.

what are the advantages of using lighter wheels?

Those are much nicer than the first ones. If I had the money to splash out on Oz alloys though I'd personally go for the Superturismos, but I still wouldn't turn those down.

Your car doesn't have to pull as much weight.

superturismos are nice too but i prefer something with less spokes....

and another question, what tyre setup is best for the corolla? i currently have the original alloys from the colour collection (15")

ordered the ultraleggera finally with some toyo proxes. :yahoo: however i may have to wait for a while before they are delivered. :crybaby: also got the tte springs but will be fitting everything at one go....

now my question is, what needs to be done once i install the springs and new wheels? is wheel balancing enough or do i need to do a wheel anlignment as well? your help would be much appreciated.

 Hi! GRD008, I am from Malta too...., in my opinion the O.Z wheels would look very nice on the

E12 ( I own one too ) and a wheel alignment would be a must when changing alloys.

Can you please advise me if you got the TTE suspension from the local Toyota Agent (Michael Attard Ltd) and at what cost? When I asked them they quoted circa Lm 100 (Euros 240) inc installation

Moreover are you getting your alloys from Fenech Clark & Co in Marsa and at what cost.... .

I am looking as well for an ally wheel set but at least till now I am more inclined towards fitting

Momo alloys (see below). On tyres I am still undecided.....

Rtec alloys.
