Hi - newbie here and the celica side of things.....

My 1990 ST185 GT4(a) Aussie import to the uk celica is not revving out coughing and spluttering and although the gauge is climbing theres no boost felt.

CEL is on and diags shows code 52 air flow meter.

My question is - how reliable is this diagnostic - could it be something else? second question where can i get a replacement air flow meter without paying the £500+ that the stealers want?

any and all advise would be greatly appreciated.

cheers Pat

i assume you have already tried checking you afm connection / wires...

try eBay and the 3 UK GT-Four clubs : GT4OC, GT4DC & GT4EC. make a note of the 10 digit part number xxxxx-xxxxx and you might find that an mr2 unit will suffice...

hope that helps.
