Rewiring Some Speakers...

Recommended Posts

Got my aygo friday night and put about 500 miles on its since then, im absolutely loving it! Got the black edition and i was wondering how much messing around is involved to re-wire the rear Speakers to run them to the parcel shelf? im not after a massive garish install or anything, i just invested in some decent 6x9s for my last car and fancied putting them in.

Just wondering? if its been answered somewhere and i missed it please point me in the right direction...

be nice though, im new :P

You do realise that the factory radio

only has like 4x 13Watts of output?

And that putting in a larger speaker doesn't

neccesarily mean you get more or better sound?

Anyway, have you got a 5dr or 3dr? Makes a lot of differece I think.

There's a PDF on the Toyota Tech Doc site describing

how to install the tweeters and rear Speakers, that

should give you an idea of what you're up against.

Download the PDF by right-clicking HERE and choosing "Save As..."

Not too hard really. I would just run it from the headunit anyway for ease. The seals on the doors come up easy enough and poking it out of view next to the back seats isn't to hard. Would definatley amp it up though.
