Bee Sting Aerial For '06 Rolla

Hey all! Not posted in this bit before so hello to every one! :)

My folks about just brought themselves a new rolla (06 plate 1.4 diesel), and have run in to a problem. Litterally.

The car is great, the only downside so far is that it doesn't fit in the garage because of the height of the aerial! Does anyone have a recommendation for a particular make of bee-sting type aerial that will just fit straight on (no modification of anything), and locations where I might be able to get them one?

I've found a Richbrook one which looks nice that I've already recommended to them, but I can't find any details as to how long it is. Anyone got any ideas?

I'm not familiar with the bee-sting aerial, but I've personally swapped mine for the civic one which is much shorter and better looking than the stock one and it doesn't require any mods, simply screw it on and bobs your uncle. The only downside it that is cost about £25 from the honda dealer, but well worth it in my mind.

yeh ive put a civic ariel onto my corolla aswell, i got my on eBay for £6 :D

I tired putting my dads honda accord aerial onto my corolla, it fit but the bottom kind of over hangs the original base for the toyota aerial. Do you get this with the civic aerial or are all honda aerials the same?

yeh its the same with the civic 1 aswell, but dnt really notice it, hasnt bothered me

Answering another question, it's does hang over the base, however, I think it looks as though it's meant to be like that.

would an aerial from a lexus RX fit? that has a short stubby aerial

This is the aerial I have on my rolla. I got it off eBay, it's 16cm long and comes with 3 different sized threaded attachments so it should be a pretty universal fit for all cars with beesting aerials.
