Hi,

This is my first post. Just picked up my wife's ex-demo Aygo+ with air-con yesterday, and I need some advice regarding fitting the Nokia hands-free that used to be in her other car.

I've worked out how to remove the head unit to access the wiring, but does anyone know if it's possible to have the hands-free mute the stereo or if it's possible to hook the audio output into the head unit rather than have to try to find somewhere to fit the Nokia speaker?

The radio in the aygo is fitted wit ISO-connectors. There's

2 large ones with 8 pins each; one for power, one for Speakers.

They can't be swapped because of the locking-tab being positioned differently:

A-Block Power:

A1 = phone mute/tach pulse

A2 = remote/ground

A3 = remote

A4 = 12V permanent IN

A5 = 12V switched OUT (i.e. for antenna or amp)

A6 = 12V IN when lights on (for screen-light or dimmer)

A7 = 12V switched IN, powered whit key in ACC or IGN

A8 = zwart (bruin), massa

B-Block Speakers:

B1 = + right rear

B2 = - right rear

B3 = + right front

B4 = - right front

B5 = + left front

B6 = - left front

B7 = + left rear

B8 = - left rear

C-Block Auxilary

C1 = line-out left rear +

C2 = line-out common ground

C3 = line-out right rear +

C4 = line-out left front +

C5 = antenna/remote +12V OUT

C6 = line out right front +

C7 = n/a

C8 = n/a

C9 = n/a

C10 = n/a

C11 = phone in +

C12 = phone in ground

C13 = cd id (data channel)

C14 = n/a

C15 = ground

C16 = +12V OUT permanent (feed for Changer)

C17 = +12V switched

C18 = CD-changer line-in ground

C19 = CD-changer line-in left

C20 = CD-changer line-in right

The radio DOES have this C-Block, and I think the pins

you need (C11 and C12) are functional, as Toyota also

fits Hanndsfree kits with sound over the stereo...

Can't test it for you though, as I ditched my Toyota radio

(actually it's a Panasonic) the first day after taking delivery

of my Aygo in favor of a Kenwood KDC-PWS9524 I allready had...

The above pinnings were translated from a

Dutch site, so I might have made some mistakes.

Also note that even though ISO is supposed to be an world

wide standard, some manufactors choos to differ from them

(like VW/Audi/Skoda/Seat having the A4 and A5 signals swapped),

so ALLWAYS test/measure your plugs before connection anything up.

Mess it up? Not my fault!

Hi,

I was looking at the user manual in the peugeot 107 (from the net) and noticed that they have labelled A7 as permanent positive and A4 as accessory positive (thro' ignition key) and that is totally opposite to the diagram above. Here is a copy paste from that manual. This explains why my Mutant radio has been playing up with clock and equalizer settings after installation. Mutant pins are exactly like the ones that Jan Van posted above but the Aygo/Peugeot pins are in reality different to that picture above with regard to the A7 and A4 pins. Jan Van where did you get that picture from please?

FITTING AUDIO EQUIPMENT

Your vehicle is equipped with certain

factory-fitted audio equipment:

- roof aerial,

- coaxial aerial cable,

- basic interference suppression,

- supply to front Speakers,

- two 8-way connectors.

FITTING Speakers

The factory-fitted equipment allows

the fitting of 100 mm diameter Speakers

on the fascia.

As accessories, you can fit 165 mm

diameter speakers on the rear shelf.
