Did 350 miles to a £35 of fuel.

I went to Alton Towers from Grantham, then from Alton Towers to Oxford, then back to Grantham. I averaged 44MPG on that journey according to the computer. Fuel price when I filled was 93.9 per litre, so someone with some maths skills can tell me how accurate that computer reading is.

Around town, I get 34-38 MPG Average.

I reckon I would of got a better MPG on my long journey, but I decided to play with the fast traffic and travelling quick DRANK my fuel like crazy. Put it this way, when I decided to chase a Mini Cooper S, I had only used 1 bar of fuel. As I left the motorway, I had 1 bar above 50% fuel.

clock always sits on 33.3mpg by the end of the journey

and thats in my 1.3

i do have a bit of a lead foot tho

see if sports cat, megan manifold, new clutch and a new lambda sensor help bring it up or down a bit lol

I usually get 28mpg on a motorway trip... guess the speed!

90? Thats about what my car shows if it hits that sort of speed (only when driven by other people though, of course )

If I go on a motorway, in a 1.3 auto, I get around 40 (Fast driving) Urban, around 45, then I get back into London, 36 or so.

Just under 40 seems the norm for mixed. (driving round London, through to Essex).
