Hi, I have a lucida that has had some recent problems either going up hill or at speed of over 60MPH. The can seems to have a problem with Fuel and appears to be miss firing. My local garage checked the engine management system and the report was a problem with the map censor. We have now replaced that censor and the problem still exisits. Anyone have any Idea's?

Have you reset the ecu? If you have failed to do this then the ecu will still register a fault within and continues to send incorrect signals to other components to compensate for the faulty MAP Sensor it thinks it still has

Reset ECU by use of appropriate FCR (Fault Code Reader) or if unavailable you could disconnect your Battery for between 30 & 60 seconds but be aware if you have a coded stereo ect you will lose the code for the stereo using this latter method if you have all the codes you shouldnt have any worries

Sorry forgot to mention fuel & air filters Checked?
