Warning Lights/diesel Consumption Problems

To Fellow Estima/Lucida owners:

I own a 92model Lucida imported from Japan for almost 3 years now.

Below are previous and current problems I have encounterrred/encounterring:

1. Overheating: Final remedy was change of water pump and rephasing of cylinder head and changed its gasket.

2. Power steering problem-due to leak in hydraulic hose- replaced the hose

Current problem:

1. High diesel consumption - immediate action done was replaced its 4 nozzles but still same problem.

2. Warning lights -

a. Recently, a "greek temple" like ideogram (i don't know if it's radiator) have been appearing on and off. Since I thought it's related to water in radiator, I frequently check water level. It's fine but still warning light comes out.

b. On the far left side of the panel, another warning light appears (permanently) color orange and it appears

to be a diagram of the vehicle with its rear side having caution signal.

Hope someone from this group could help me at the most earlist time.

Also, does anyone from you hear have a 92 model Lucida catalog? Hoping for a kind hearted person that could sent it to me thru email... jromerosa@yahoo.com

In addition to my previous inquiry...

I would like to know all the warning lights ideograms that Lucida have and ofcourse its corresponding meaning or explanation.

I hope that there is someone kind enough who could share this matter with me.

:) The greek temple is a low water in radiator warning- perhaps there is an air lock in the system? as for the other light have you checked all the lights at the rear are on and working or is the tailgate not closing fully? hope this helps

The temple shaped light referred in my case in the end to a leaking heater matrix. very costly at £1000. That seems to be a rare occurence, though, the workshop I went to did not have a faulty Lucida heater matrix yet.
