He may have some left if you pay quick enough! May be a fiver more then the group buy price though. Send him a PM asking!

Just quickly back to asking about my brakes, are 3G discs the only option for a upgrade? I'm thinking my fronts could do with changing soon as they have quite a lip on them where the braking surface has been worn away! I was after a set of new discs but didnt really want to spend £100 for the 3G ones when on there own they will barely make a difference! However if there were any performance discs a bit cheaper i may be tempted which is why i wondered what else is available? Anyone know how much the standard discs should cost me to replace? Also, this may sound stupid but, are all discs for the yaris gona be vented? (not grooved i mean vented as in made up of two plates so air can run in between?) This is what is currently on mine but looking at brake for my mates mini i noticed you can get solid discs? Just checking that i wont end up with solid for yaris if i go really cheap!

All yaris replacement discs will be vented (on your car anyway) since that's how they're designed. Solid discs are rarely used these days.

The discs from toyota are about £120 plus fit. You could get your's simply skimmed, about £30 a disc and will last upto 20,000 miles depending on braking habits.

I don't know how you've worn them down so fast anyway... must be learners leg! Engine brakes for you too y'know!

Lol i do engine brake quite a bit but i also brake before accelerating as if im going for it i brake hard in straight lines but then want maximum acceleration so i add some revs to remove engine braking so i can accelerate properly round a corner. Anyway remember someone else owned the car before me and its now just done 50k with no history of the discs being replaced/skimmed as far as i can see so surely that aint too bad? Skimming sounds much nicer than £120 :o Can i get none toyota ones cheaper surely and still not neccesarily performance ones?

Skimming is a waste of time IMO, most of the time it leaves the discs just above the minimum thickness, and tends to make the brakes squeak and judder when skimmed.

Just buy whatever you can afford at the moment, its the same as tyres really, don't buy the cheapest, but don't wait ages whilst saving up to get them replaced.

I dunno 3g's are expensive for a pair of discs which, on their own, will not improve braking that considerably! I better off buying other discs and then braided lines with the change  If i get pads at a price as good as that i could even get pads, braided lines n uprate fluid aswell as set of discs all for the price of a set of 3g discs! What are your guys views on ebc discs?
