Strongest Oem Clutch Plate ?

I've got a question for clutch gurus.

My off road trialer uses a Subaru 1800cc engine, complete with flywheel and clutch pressure plate, mounted onto a Daihatsu g'box and then RangeRover axles.

To join all this together I used an early Celica clutch friction plate ( probably RA61 ) because the splines match the Daihatsu and the outside diameter matches the Subaru pressure plate.

This worked ok for a while, but then I fitted bigger and knobblier tyres and tore the middle out of the friction plate. So I am trying to find out if there is a stronger plate in the Toyota range?

I'm fairly certain that some HiLux, smaller Cruisers, some Camry's and Carina's used friction plates that are dimensionally the same -

Outside dia. 224mm ( 9 inch ) 21 Splines. Spline o/d 28.72mm ( 1 1/8 inch ) i/d 25mm ( 1 inch )

What I need is a solid centre friction plate, so to get one I need at least some information of what model and year. Part numbers would be wonderful.

If there isn't anything stronger then I will have to get a paddle clutch plate, and so far the only way to get one of those is to have one custom made, which would be expensive. Unless someone knows different that is?

PS. I'm also a huge Yota fan and have owned them for over 30 years now, I have a LJ70 waiting to be seriously off roaded as my next project.
