The New Auris

I'm looking forward to this Corolla replacement. I've already put in a tentative order via my local dealer for the new Auris with the 175 D4D with multi-mode gearbox and paddleshift, hopefully for February delivery. I would have preferred the current TS engine but it would appear that this will not be an option. Toyota are unsure if the 175 will carry the T-Sport Badge but I think it will be carried over. This will be a very potent car and I strongly suspect will out-perform a standard TS. 19in 10spoke wheels are on the options list. The twin exhausts (copy of the Civic) are a very nice touch.

The engine should be good, not sure how it will drive, though. It's presumably targeting the younger driver, so perhaps it will be a little more tail happy.

I wonder when we will see the first reviews.
