yeh it is possible

but you have to think about warranty issues

if something goes wrong toyota wont have anything to do with it!

But then all i would have to do is take out the unit if anything...or take warranty with that company at £99

toyota will know that you had it in there because the engine would be slightly more worn than normal.

but that warranty sounds good for that price!

but can you extend that cover after the 1st year?

Hi,

I think John (AE111SR) looked into this also.

I'm sure he mentioned TTE's done a chip for the earlier D-4D

stating those same gains in performance but its not yet available for later facelift models.

PREFACELIFT CHIP

TTE Warranty Explained

If TTE do the upgrade themselves you'll still be under warranty, so it won't be an issue.

But I've bookmarked that site for future "end of warranty" mod's,

Richard K

Apparently TTE are working on a facelift version but there are tighter emissions requirements that have to be met with the later Corollas.
