Hi there,

What I need is some black trim for my MR2 MkII rev1.

If you are facing the drivers door ( right hand drive ), it's the bit to the left of the front indicator closest to the wheel arch. ( hope that makes sense )

The one on my motor is very scruffy !

Anyone able to help me out ??

cheers !!

do you mean the trim that runs along the middle of the car with twin cam 16v turbo (on turbo) models printed towards the back? Not sure since I haven't seen a black one?? Could you draw it?

I'm also after a some new Tbar bar glass panels. More the right hand one than the left... but only if in excellent condition as the rim of my right hand one is a little untidy. (nothing really, just prob being fussy)

let me know if anyone can help ??

(will post pics of mine tomorrow if required).

Gonna get my car looking sh*t hot, some bits need tidied up here and there... nothing major though.... another question while I'm writing...

Anyone know how to paint the calipers ? Does it need special paint etc?

Andy, when you getting your window fixed mate?

James dont bother sending the pics tomorrow as I'm coming up to Scotland.. I'll see it in the flesh anyway... you can send me them later.

I have had an email saying my window mech is ready and waitint and only at £25 !!.. so I'm gonna get it fitted when I get back to Derby.

James try Fensport.. they sell T-Bar glass but not sure if they have any in stock and you have to make sure the trim is the same colour!

For the calipers.. I would say its a very fiddly job.. you can get brake paint from Halfords but any heat resistant paint will do.. I wouldnt bother personally unless they look well scabby.

SORRY TO DISAGREE WITH U ALL, BUT YOU'RE ALL WRONG! :P

just bought a new jap indicator from MR T (same as one needed here) and the plastic trim is attached to the indicator (all same unit). AND IT ONLY COST £16 and a few pence - £19 or thereabouts with VAT.

only 2 bolts to change the unit as well. STRESS THE COLOUR TRIM NEEDED WHEN BUYING THE INDICATOR - THERE ARE ABOUT 8 TO CHOOSE FROM.

if there is any variance in prices with different MR T'S, mine is MONTY'S OF SHEFFIELD.

pm me if u need phone numbers, more info etc.
