Compressor Handling

Well I seem to have found the limits of the compressors handling. I was going round a long sweeping bend at a tad over the limit and she just understeered. The car mounted the grass verge so i was half on and half off.

Fortunately at the speed i was able to ease her off gently so i didnt lose that much control and carry on.

I now have one very badly scraped alloy but it could have been worse.

It's just a little frustating they have made a car that looks amazing, accelerates well but just seems to lack the handling to back it up. Does anyone think it may have been the tyres, they have only been on for about 1000 miles and a Pirelli Pzero Neros. I thought Pirellis were very good.

Its the alloys/tyres - will take them off your hands for £200?

LOL i like your thinking Johndcfc!!!

Pirelli P Zeros are a very good tyre. What you might have had problems with is the amount of grip available from the road. Maybe a bit of oil, diesel and/or tree leaves. The amount of times that i've gone into a corner with tree leaves on and found your having to tip toe because you haven't any grip.

I think you must be right. it was rather strange as it just went. there was no sign it was going to happen. I dont mean to sound like a nutter driver but I have lost control of some cars before and each of those times i knew they were going to break loose at any moment.

Oh well, looks like i'll have to keep the alloys and tyres. Sorry Johndcfc
