Finally Got My Wing Mirror Fixed

I finally got my wing mirror fixed yesturday. I ordered the part and all that last friday and its taken them a week to get the part and get it painted. The finaly cost was £146.24 and took them about an hour to fit it.

So just pray no one does it to yours cos a 20 quid scrappy job on all other cars is actually a 146 quid job on the Aygo.

I woke up Sunday morning to find that some pathetic little person had decided to have some fun with my wing mirror. I took the Aygo to the garage this morning, and they will be getting a replacement mirror for me for Wednesday. The guy couldn't say exactly how much it would cost, but said it should be in the region of £80.

The worst thing about the whole situation is the frustration, I'm powerless to do anything to stop that sort of thing happening. The only consolation I can draw is that I feel sorry for the person that did it, because I have a much more worthwhile life than they do!

I am going to get them to look at the drivers chair as well, it squeeks any time I change gear because of the way I move my leg, and I am sure the boot rattles because I don't think the glass is held in place particularly well... anyone else found these problems?

Ouch that was expensive, what happened to Aygo being cheap to repaier hence the low insurance group.

Pleased you got your aygo back to new.
