Hi People,

I have a 2000 Avensis, and am looking to change the CD system in for a new one, but i want to keep the TNS Sat Nav, can the CD Tray just been removed and a new (bought) CD system be put in and if so the next question is is there a bracket available to do this?

Ta,

Chris

You can't just remove te CD tray, because the Speakers and some of the SatNav controls are connected to it. If you remove it the SatNav won't work. You must keep it and move it to somewhere else. With the CD opening facing down it will fit behind the glove compartment, but you'll have to extent the wiring ofcourse. And you'll have to fit in an extra speaker for the voice of the SatNav. There is no bracket available, at least not here (Netherlands) It's a lot of work, but it can be done.

Thanks Guido,

It does seem like a lot of work, so I think I will give it a miss.

Thanks for you reply though.
