Here's just a few pics of my Aygo atm:

Dezent V 15" alloys with 195/45/15 Tyres - Only cost £329, on offer from motor-world.co.uk

inside.jpg

Just a pic of the inside, with the equalizer. Also improved the gear stick by putting a new sleeve/shaft on it to keep the gator tight with the gear knob.

comments etc...

Very nice mate. You got a picture of your install in the boot?

Are the 195/45/15 tyres the same diameter as the standard ones? I like the wheels but the gap somehow looks bigger than the norm. Maybe it's just the picture though.

Looking good mate B)

Although i'd be wary of the tyres at that price

I thought that also.

They are the low(er) profile tyres I think as 195/50/15 would be standard on those size wheels:thumbsup:

What make tyres at that price??

The standard wheels are 14 inch and are supplied with 155/65/14 tyres.

Matt has the correct tyre for 15's - 195/45/15.

How do those 195 tyres work in the wet? I would have thought that in the dry they would be awesome---that is the same width as the Corolla T Sport stock tryes---but surely in the wet things are going to get a bit tricky?

Hey, yea its the right fittment for the 15's on the aygo, if it was 195/50's then the tyres would be just too big. It hasnt changed the hight of the ride or anything but i wanna get it lowerded when i can afford the £280 iv been quoted.

Im not sure how low profile tyres proform in the wet compaired to standard ones, but stright away i noticed a big impovementin both wet and dry. But that might just be down to the fact that i was running on 1.3mm of tred on my old ones.

Im not worried about the price, i know it was cheap but it was only cos they were on offer, reduced from like £450 or sumit so im fairly confident that they are fine.

They also look so much sweeter with the fatter tyres, dont look like it running on biscits anymore.

thanks for the comments guys, matty.

Guys, how are you dealing with the cops?

Here, in my car's papers (don't know the right term, it's the place where my car's properties are written) it's written black on white that the only tyres alowed are 155/65/R14.

How do you manage to get the other sizes? R15 and R16?

No problem changing wheel size in the UK provided it's safe and insured.
