Knocking Sounds

any help would be good here,iv got a strange knocking coming from the engine or gearbox when i take my foot off the gas at any speed it makes this knock and i can also feel it coming through the steering wheel.

Is it coming from the rear?

If so, likely cause is the rear diff mount, not too hard to replace, and around £70 from TCB delivered :)

no its coming from the front,like i say it only happens when i take my foot off the gas and its a deep knock that comes up through the steering wheel :(

I was going to suggest a rear mount on the engine/diff. Not a bad job to do yourself either.

yeah possibly sounds like an engine or a gearbox mount mate, especially as it happens when you take load off the engine, should be a relatively easy fix once u find which one it is :P
