Give Me Ideas Where To Get My Greddy E-manage Mapped.

Got an email back from a local garage with the following...

Hi Fizz

I'd rather install it then I know its right when I come to map it, its easy to get the ignition wires the wrong way and then the timing wont tune

Install 150 + vat basically 3 hours, mapping up to 4 hours 300 + vat total £528.75

Seems a tad on the expensive side for my liking so am after alternatives please..

rubbish......

unless your colour blind and cant understand 'connect yellow/blue/red/whatever wire to pin XXX of ECU then you might aswell save a ton 50!

I have already spoken to him (if its the same person im thinking about) and he said i need a wideband O2 sensor to get it mapped properly which will set me back a further £150.

I have also been advised that it wont be required for the level of mods I have on my car and that a RR would have its own O2 wideband sensor for mapping.

Dunno which way to go... arrrgghhh..

Following on from the original email i got above.. I replied stating that i was supprised that it would take 4 hours and also I will get it installed elsewhere.

His reply is as follows...

It can take up to 4 hours it may only take me 1.5-2 hours

if that's the case it could be fitted and mapped for £350 all inc. do you want to agree on that I'll hold the price at that even if it takes me longer.
