2 Year Service Due....what To Expect?

Had a letter from Toyota saying that I should book my 1.3 Yaris in for it's 2 year service for around the 2nd Nov (picked up car orignially around the 25th Nov) - is the gap due to pre-registration or something?

Had a skim through some posts but can't find exactly what I'm looking for, so:

What am I looking at when I take it in to see MrT? £200ish?

Anything I should know in advance to sound more knowledgeable? Did read bits about the "extras" being added on for the 1 year service, but not 100% what the 2 year service entails....

Also, forgive my ignorance here, but when exactly is a MOT due on a car? It's two years old next month, bought new. Not 100% sure what the warranty covers either should they try and scam me somehow....

My 2nd year service cost £210.

An M.O.T. is due when it's 3 years old.

Mine is 3yrld the end of November so I have a Service, M.O.T. & Insurance due in November.

Ok with the insurance here.....mine's paid monthly and with another year's no claims, I get to save £1.33 a month!

My road tax should be due in the next month though......amazingly everything comes around at the exact time I get loads of overtime at work and decide to spend the money on something useless for myself ;)

If you look in the manual in your Yaris, it'll give you a break down of what is expected at 20k.

Oil and filter change for a start.

Usually a visual inspection of other things.

Some folks have had brake fluid changed as well - doesn't always need doing though. Mine went through the 30k service with the same fluid it's had since day 1 - I.e. It was still in good condition, so didn't need changing.

Yes, if your car is pre-registered its from the date of 1st registration, not the date you picked the car up.

I picked my car up 2 days after it was registered, so I know mines due around the 18th December.... never buy a car before Christmas because its a bugger!:lol:
