A Big Thankyou

thanks to everyone on here for the advice and help theyv given me the last few weeks. its these boards that will keep the gt4 alive and kicking well past its years as without it all the little jobs that people do themselves would have to go to a garage and thus i think lots of people wouldnt be botherd to keep there cars on the road in as good a condition as they are. my gt4 is in the shop having its superstruts done and i feel like a concernd parent! iv never felt such affinity for a car since my 1st mini! incidently what was every1s 1st cars?

As for 1st car, mine was a 1993 5dr Corolla GLi :) Red when it was new, slightly pink when I owned it!

an 18yr old golf gti 16v in white, pretty much rebuilt that car, sold it to my mate then he blew it up trying to race an audi rs4.... T@T :P

indeed with regards to the 'mothering' of the car feeling..

My first car believe it or not was a 1990 Celica GT in black... then 2nd car was another Celica GT in black but this time a 1992 mint one.. :P

The best thing about TOC is that you cancome on here and escape from all the nastiness found on so many other forums. Sure people have their spats but it`s never anything serious. And there is definately a feeling of community. Long may it last.

Oh and my first car was a 1963 MG 1100. It was rubbish.

got that knocking sorted out,the grease monkey who did the clutch forgot to tighten the super struts up! so im now £30 out of pocket but sooo much more relieved! and the car handles so much better now as a result suprise suprise!!
