Airbag Light Flashing !

Hi today the airbag warning light started flashing , did this happen to any of you?

According to the manual you should check with your dealer when this light blinks.

The only time it's Okay for the light to be on is after turning on the ignition

(for about 6 seconds) and when you've switced off the passenger airbag

with the keylock under the steering wheel.

Any other time is bad and should be checked ASAP for your own safety...

yeah i agree. it is quite serious. however, it is only the passenger airbag, Drivers is still fine. just had to mention that =-P

yeah happened to me to. apparently it just needed re-setting, dunno y it happened tho, could b something wrong with air bags or the seat belts or any other safety feat's so it may not even be the air bag! just pop it in to mr T. mines been ok since :)

Don't know where you got that wisdom, but this is NOT true...

The Airbag light is an indicator for the ENTIRE system,

including the Side-bags and Curtains if fitted...

Hi guys yes as you were saying that warning light is for all the system including the seatbelt pre tensioners ,airbags,sensors! I took it to Mr T the next day as they wanted to see it right away to them , they only kept me there for about 20 mins , then one came out and told me it took the reset but in the case it does it again we have to keep thye car here for a day to check it .

I was really pleased with the service!

my car annoyed me cos it only did it when i drove it, as soon as i took it to Mr T it stopped flashing! lol finally decided to blink at them and i had to leave it there for the day! hmm strange aygo ;)

Hi guys sorry for the delayed answer but have no inet at home so has to be working to be able to post :censor:

I took the car to mr t the next day and they said it reset but didn't know what the problem was and that if it does it again i have to leave the car there for a day :censor:
