Thx guys. I love the ride height now but the lady has probs with finding every pot hole in sight. Do i need to change the struts? The wheels are O.Z. racing, i've been informed that the white ones are worth a packet and i was fortunate to have them come with the car when i bought it. Do you mean the indicator covers needs to be clear?

1. Replace front indicators with clear ones.

2. Replace side repeaters with clear ones.

3. Replace rear lights with late spec ones.

Job done!

Some basic questions then please help. Where do you get the smoke out spry for indicator covers and what is it called? My front end is now bottoming out on the bumps etc (does this mean the struts are knacked, any suggestions on struts if this is the case?

Got mine from Halfrauds. Smallish can. Something about tints on it. Cost about a tenner iirc.

Hi,

I'm fairly new to Celicas but have experience with lesser sports cars.

Did you change the struts when lowering the car?

In some cases the struts bottom out with shorter springs

nope  should have hey. Now it's a matter of finding out info on them so it stops bottoming out. Would a standard set of new shocks do the job?

hi,

It would depend on the travel of the standard shocks, but in general terms it's best to use shocks manufactured with lowering in mind.

That has been my experience with other cars, Celicas may have the travel but from your description I suspect they may not.
