My T180 doesn't have an alarm - just the immobiliser.

Bit suprising really, given that in every other respect it has more electronics than the starship Enterprise.

Just got past the 1000 miles mark and only had it a week. I can't believe that this is a diesel

Must get my Origin B2 fitted soon.....

Regards,

Robin

Hi Susan :)

Origin B2 is a natty little GPS device that warns you when you are entering <cough> safety camera zones.

Here's the manufacturers website : www.originb2.com

It has some useful extra features too - warning you when near schools, when getting close to the London congestion charging area, and a nice user presettable speed warning feature to remind when you're enjoying the acceleration a little too much

I've not actually done an accurate check of the range as yet as I tend to keep it topped up (I hate having to fill up and get ripped off by Motorway services fuel prices). I reckon somewhere around the 340 mile mark though as a guesstimate. Should improve as the mechanics wear in no doubt.

Cheers

Robin

Hi,

I have the diesel and it has tha perimeter alarm fitted, I know because I set it off by accident once,

it anybody could shed a little light on how it actually works, that would be useful.

Guys, i have a T180 it does have an alarm, it only goes off by force opening a door when the car is locked, there is no movement sensors inside, if you try open a window so you can get your arm in, as though you have smashed the window.

Then only giving the remote one click to lock it, don't deadlock it with the second click!!

Open the door and it makes a right noise!!!

Give it a go!!

What use it is god knows!! if someone puts the window through it does not make a sound!!
