Please Help I Need Advice On Corolla Alloys

Please if anyone could advise. I purchased some new 18 alloys for my Corolla T-Spirit 2002 with tyre sizes 215 35 18 (Toyo Proxes T1r's). I just wanted some advice on whether it is a good idea to put these wheels on and will it be safe for the car as I have historically used 17's on a Civic which were fine but first time with this Corolla and bigger wheels.

Does an 18" make a big difference to 17" and if anyone could please advise - does 18" alloys make the car safer or a risk (I will have them properly fitted tomorrow with correct fitting kit etc).

Kindest Regards

G6R would those 215-45-17 be ok iff the car is on coilovers mines rather low ? I think 18s would be too big for the corolla any bigger than 17s and ur gonna start losing performance may have problems with arches catching.

Had the 18" wheels fitted today no problems at all!. The wheels dont catch the arches but I must admit steering is a little heavier than historically with the 15"s. Other than that nothing much to say - I paid £450 for a brand new set of toyo proxes and bk rims (18's!) A bargain! Was going to sell them on but thankfully havent. Car looks stunning although am sure in the future I will end up paying for new tyres etc at high prices! than expected. My advice buy toyo proxes superb tyres and felt alot safer than with previous tyres! I will post some pics soon to aid future buyers of 18" wheels!
