Previa Cdx Stereo Woes

Is there some really knowledgeable/helpful person out there who can guide me in the replacement of the radio in a 2000 CDX Previa?

I've tried the obvious cd header cleaners with no success and I could cope with the Sat Nav going on the blink and refusing to read the disk - I had a TomTom unit - but now the stereo won't read a disk either so I want to replace it with some modern enough to cope with the kids' MP3 players

Trouble is I can't see how you get the original one out of the dash
