1 Celica less in the world. :crybaby:

Thanks to everyone who has contributed one way or another to help keep this sexy car running. But time and money is against me.

KITT is in the for sale section. :(

For now I am on the look out for a cheap runaround,Less than £500 or there abouts. A 1.3l Corolla would be brill but doesnt have to be a Toyota really but would have to be an Auto.

Then mebbe when things start looking a bit brighter another Celica will enter into my world (I hope).

The good news is I can sell the number plate back to the place I bought it from for £400 quid. So that has made a profit, but that is only if they can sell it.

Its only a piece of metal but we have been through a lot over the last couple of years car related and family stuff, if I was down I would jump in her and off we went and the smile would always come back. I have tried every thing humanly possible to sort this car out, she was my dream car.

Its sounds sad but I feel like I am letting her down now and its really upsetting, the tears just keep creeping up on me. My problem still is that I find it hard to let things go when I try so hard to keep things going. You would have thought I would have learnt my lesson by now.

Really truly sorry to hear this hun. I know what Kitt means/meant  to you. I think it`s happened to quite a few of us on here in the past. It`s one of those unavoidable things really. :(

Anyhoos. Look on the bright side. KIT was a chapter in your life and now it`s time to move onto bigger and better things. I`m sure there`ll be something like a nice shiny black Soop TT just waiting for the Ash treatment as soon as funds/circumstances permit.:thumbsup:

Keep yer chin up kiddo.

KITT will live on in you Ash.. memories of trips and journeys... cursings and smiles... and when you are ready... you will transfer all of that to another one.... (preferably without all the agro and the need for constant repair/maintenance/beatings :P)

She served you pretty well for a time... but this is the right thing now, sort yourself out with a runaround and save for a spotless one

Errr... I thought there were other problems? Oil light permanently on... despite oil going in?

It cut out on the motorway and stopped?

Cuts out at idle (wont idle properly)

etc...

or is that sorted now? cause they sound more serious than new tyres/exhaust and disks... and more of a reason to get rid
