Right... the brakes on the 2 are fine for now...

just wondering if you can upgrade them at all??? wouldn't mind having some extra security on stopping me thinks...

Unless you are going to bang in a 3SGTE, I wouldn’t bother upgrading the brakes Andie.I have done a couple of track days in mine and had no issues with brake fade or lack of stopping power.

Every time I use Anne’s 190 Celica after the 2 it feels like pressing on a sponge and it won’t stop. Save your money and just paint the callipers, it still stops quicker than most cars and looks good. :thumbsup:

see i feel the brakes could be better...

i test drove a celica the day i got my mr2... and thought the brakes on the celica were gash!!! don't know whether it was due to it being used as a test drive car, but they were worse than my rover!!! oh yes, and i did i ever mention i bought my mr2 without even test driving one! :lol::rolleyes:
