They wont. I think i`m right in saying that any new taxes will only apply to newly registered vehicles....

Anyway the robbing bar stewards get enough out of us GT4 owners in petrol tax. :ffs: :ffs: :ffs:

HA.... The best we got over here is Texaco SUL (94p) Otherwise it`s crap 95RON.(85p) Fortunately my GT4 is a UK one and copes ok with 95.

The 4x4 taxes are all hyped up press at the mo, there has been nothing confirmed by the government.

At the mo taxes are based on emissions so the new Navara which is one of the bigger 4x4's are now down to £110 for 12 months :D

Isnt the 4x4 tax only pointed a large off road type vehicles such as range rovers and landcruisers etc

Can't see it become obsolete even if tax does get higher plus evos, subaraus, cossies, skylines, pulsars, quattros etc would all suffer the same fate.

As said can't see it myself and they can't tax them by emissions as with new cars because they were build before that that poo came in.
