Dump Valves

How do i know it i have a dual piston type dump valve. The one i have is either a DV26 or DV36. I took it to bits last night i has a little piston with a spring at the bottom, and a top bit whihc moves into the top of the DV which has a spring to give it some tension

Will this be a twin piston type, hasnt got any marks other than baileys motorsport to confirm which model it is

That's a twin piston one.

Twin Piston - One small piston that dumps a little bit at low pressure and creates a fluttery kind of sound and then a larger piston which comes into effect at higher pressure and creates the louder tisss noise.

Single piston - One single large piston that only dumps at whatever the set pressure is.
