Cigarrete Lighter Connection Leads Help

Hello, I recently bought a celica 97st, but have discovered the cig lighter didnt work.

I took off the gear shifter panel, and there is no lead going into the lighter, but there are a coupl of other loose leads.

Which is the correct one/colour to plug in? or has it been used for the sony cd player? who could possible know....

Going from memory - which is no gaurantee - I think it grey/red or grey/green = Live and white/black = neg. Live goes to centre connetion and Neg to outer. Check with a voltmeter or test lamp to be sure.

i wired in a 2nd cig lighter socket (from maplins for pennies) with an in line fuse straight off the Battery. its handy to have 2 and i always have problems with the original one for some reason :censor:
