Dvd Movie Through Sat Nav

My 2002 Corolla comes installed with a DVD sat nav system. It has a colour touch screen that looks very much like the following one: http://www.coastaletech.com/toy%20nav%20vi...terface%202.JPG, only difference between mine and this one is that my one has AM-FM button instead of AM-SAT and the FM button in the picture is actually a Tape button on my corolla.

I've been looking around on the internet to see whether it is possible to wire up a dvd player to the system so that i can watch dvd movies on that screen. It seems that there is a product called ViewTech 2005 available at: http://www.coastaletech.com/viewtech_2005.htm

It seems like this product plugs into the satnav dvd player and then provides phono video inputs.

The product seems quiet expensive and i do not want to buy it if it's not going to work with my system. Has anyone had any experience with something like this?

any suggestions would be very much appreciated.
